The Nostalgia project was one of my favorite projects, I can safely say, of my entire life possibly.
I think it was a project that really allowed me to explore and embrace all my interests in one: fashion, marketing & advertisement, photography -- and working with my sister was just a huge plus! We are both really passionate kids about this stuff so it was all the more fun.
The Nostalgia project was basically a fake shop my sister and I created back in 2016, based in our room. We thought of everything that was necessary in building a store (okay, except for the money and stocks part of it); from the meaning behind Nostalgia, the store set-up and themes, the different marketing campaigns, the clothing theme that would be sold, to eventually, even branching out to a "seasonal magazine" for the "store."
We were really extra about it, thinking about the product packaging to ...
Anyways, the project is virtually dead now as we don't have the time anymore to re-decorate our room into store theme frequently or just time in general to think about this stuff. But from my time "opening this stop", I really felt at home. I could feel my heart doing excited cartwheels each time we brought it up again. I felt that this was where I was meant to be. So for now, let's just say the project is taking a nap.
If fate will have it, I hope to one day, turn this project into a real one.
